This Privacy Policy explains how Byldr Software LLC (“byldr,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit byldr.dev, contact us, or engage us for engineering work. Byldr Software LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company operated by Ryan Cwynar. Business address: 30 N Gould St, Suite N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you book a call, send an email, submit a form, or respond to a proposal, we collect what you provide — typically your name, email address, company, and the details of your request.
- Proposal & engagement data. If we share a proposal with you, we may record which version you viewed, when you opened it, and the responses you submit, so we can follow up accurately.
- Usage data. Like most websites, we automatically receive standard log information from your browser — IP address, device and browser type, referring pages, and timestamps — plus basic analytics about which pages are viewed and which buttons on them are used.
- Advertising measurement. We advertise on OpenAI’s ad platform, and we measure whether those ads lead anywhere. To do that we give your browser a random identifier, stored in a cookie, and send it to OpenAI with the pages you view and the steps you take toward starting a project. The identifier is not derived from your device and says nothing about you on its own. If you later give us an email address — in the intake chat or on a form — we send a one-way cryptographic hash of it alongside that identifier, which lets the ad platform connect those earlier visits to you. We never send OpenAI your email address itself, and we store the identifier with your enquiry so we can tell which visits led to it.
- Cookies. We use a small number of cookies: some are necessary for the site to function (for example, to keep you signed in to a protected proposal), and some are for the advertising measurement described above. Clearing your cookies removes the identifier, and we do not attempt to re-create it by fingerprinting your device. You can also turn off all of our own analytics for a browser by visiting byldr.dev/?analytics=off. We do not sell your data.
- Mailing list. If you ask for our free checklist, we store your email address, when and where on the site you signed up, and when you confirmed. We send that address to our email provider, Resend, so we can email you. We only add you after you click the confirmation link. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
- Search visibility audit. If you run the free audit, we store the URL you entered, your email address, your IP address, browser user agent, the check results (grades, findings, and optional PageSpeed scores), and whether you opted into the mailing list. We use this to email you the report, notify the operator, and enforce rate limits. We keep audit rows for up to 12 months, then delete or anonymize them. We only add you to the mailing list if you tick that box and confirm your email.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiries and deliver the work you ask for.
- To prepare, send, and follow up on proposals and engagements.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve byldr.dev and our services.
- To send you messages related to a project or your request. We only send marketing email to people who asked for it and confirmed their address, and every such email has a one-click unsubscribe.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business — for example hosting, email, scheduling, and analytics providers — and only as needed for them to perform those services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Your code and confidential information
When we do engineering work with you, any source code, credentials, or confidential materials you share are used solely to perform that work. We keep them confidential and return or delete them on request at the end of an engagement.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide our services and for legitimate business or legal purposes. You can ask us to delete information we hold about you, and we will do so unless we are required to retain it.
Your choices & rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to object to or restrict certain processing. We honor these requests as required by law.
Children
byldr.dev is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be posted on this page.
